Long time MLB Starting Pitcher Officially
Edwin Jackson, a longtime MLB starting pitcher who pitched in the league for more than a decade, announced his official retirement on social media.
He had a great career.
"This sport has taught me many life lessons and has allowed me to grow into the person I am today!
I will always have memories that I will remember about the sport I loved and my Life is dedicated.
Thanks for a wonderful baseball life experience I will never forget!!" he announced.
Jackson, 39, participated in the 2003–19 majors.
He was an All-Star in 2009 and World Series champion in 2011.Good luck with retirement, Edwin.
