Injury report for Chiefs vs. Cardinals, Week 1
Cliff Kingsbury said the team was still looking into the severity of Rondell Moore's hamstring injury.
Kingsbury said it happened when Moore was off the running routes during practice on Thursday.
Kingsbury said that as a positive person, he expects Moore to be "50-50" to play on Sunday.
But Moore, along with offensive lineman Cody Ford (ankle) and cornerback Trayvon Mullen (toe), are officially out for the game.
Cornerback Byron Murphy has been linked with an injury report with an illness and it is doubtful the Cardinals will become even thinner if he can't take on the position.
Linebacker Marcus Golden (Teen), who was reportedly handed a new contract on Friday, is not injured.
The Cardinals added two major pieces to the injury report on Thursday, with wide receiver Rondell Moore (hamstring) and offensive lineman Cody Ford (ankle) suffering blows on the job
If Moore can't play on Sunday, the Cardinals will only have four healthy receivers left on their active roster: A.J. Green, Hollywood Brown, Andy Isabella and Greg Dort.
LB Marcus Golden (teen) will return to limited work in the open part of Cardinals training on Thursday.
