Cristiano Ronaldo angrily kicked water bottles as he left the pitch after Al Nasr’s 1-0 league defeat to title rivals Al Ittihad on Thursday.

Ronaldo, 38, played the entire match but had just one shot on target. Video footage showed the Portugal captain hitting a water bottle on the touchline as he left the pitch with his teammates.
It was Al Nasr’s second league defeat of the season but Ronaldo’s first since joining the club as a free agent in December following the termination of his contract with Manchester United by mutual consent.
Ronaldo wrote on Instagram after the match: “Disappointed with the result, but we are focused on our season and the games ahead. Thank you Al Nasr fans for your support, we know we can count on you!”
Ronaldo failed to score in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final on 26 January in a 3–1 loss against Al Ittihad.
The former Real Madrid forward, who was named the Saudi Pro League Player of the Month in February for his match-winning performance for Al Nasr, has not found the back of the net in the last two matches.
A five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Ronaldo scored eight goals, including four at Al-Wehda on February 9, and set up two more in eight appearances for the Riyadh-based club.
